Corel Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop which is better?

Published by emil629 at 2:32 pm under Introduction to Digital Photgraphy Edit This

I do a lot of digital alercations to different photos and I have both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro to use. A lot of people will disagree with me here because Photoshophas a “bigger” name, but to be honest I think Paint Shop Pro is a better program. They are both very similar, but PSP I think is a lot more user friendly. It’s going to be the program to choose if your a beginner because it’s easier to learn.

Photoshop, is an excellent program, but I think it’s more for professional graphic artists than your every day average Joe. Learning both of them even though they are very similar, will give you the best options for all of your digital photography needs. I’ve found a lot of tutorials online and am going to start posting a tutorial of they day. That way you have the option to choose and have all of the tutorial links in once easy place to find! Do check back and in the meantime I want your opinion what’s better Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop?

I agree with you. I love Corel Paint Shop Pro. I have had every version of the program since JASC Paint Shop Pro 6. It is a lot easier to learn and use yet capable of doing just about anything you’d need.
